Pöyry PLC approves share subscriptions with stock options

Pursuant to Pöyry PLC's stock option programme 2004, 80 728 new shares of the company have been subscribed in July 2008 with stock options 2004A and 2004B. The Board of Directors of Pöyry PLC has approved these subscriptions in its meeting on 22 July 2008. Following these subscriptions, the total number of the company's authorised shares will increase to 58 802 942.

The aim is to have the increase in the number of shares registered in the Trade Register on 31 July 2008. According to the terms and conditions of stock options 2004, the subscribed new shares entitle to dividend and other shareholders' rights as of the date of registration of the shares into the Trade Register. The new shares will be joined to the old shares and are expected to be available for public trading on the main list of the OMX Nordic Exchange in Helsinki on 1 August 2008.

The subscription period for stock options 2004A started on 1 March 2007 and will end on 31 March 2010. A total of 232 168 shares have been subscribed with stock options 2004A by 22 July 2008.

The subscription period for stock options 2004B started on 1 March 2008 and will end on 31 March 2011. A total of 91 928 shares have been subscribed with stock options 2004B by 22 July 2008.
