Canada: Lumber production in January lower by 10% over a year ago

Canadian lumber production increased 19.2% from December to 5 154.3 thousand cubic metres in January, but was down 10.1% compared with January 2018.

Canada's sawmills shipped 4 983.4 thousand cubic metres of lumber in January, up 17.9% from December but 2.6% lower than in January 2018.
