In February 2015, sawlog prices in Finland have declined as compared to January. On average, sawlogs have become cheaper by almost 4 percent. The price of pine sawlogs declined by around EUR 3/cubic meter, while spruce registered a decrease of EUR 3,5/cbm. Birch gained a slight price increase of EUR 0,20/cbm.
Year-over-year, in February 2015, the price of Finnish roundwood is as well declining. Pine and spruce sawlogs price lost around -1% and -3% respectively compared to February 2014. Pulpwood assortments have also become cheaper by -3%.
