Alternativtext The German producer price indices for oak drifted apart again in July 2022. On average, the index value for log wood increased by 1.1% to 127.1 points. No information could be given for A quality due to a lack of data availability. The index lastly rose by 2% to 97.1 points in May. B quality recorded a minus of 1.5% to 126.6 points in July. 3m lengths decreased by 1.3% to 121.1 points, while 5m lengths increased by 1.7% to 148.5 points.

C ranges increased by 0.2% to 133.9 points. 3 m lengths contributed to this with a minus of 1% to 134.7 points. 5 m lengths increased by 4.2% to 140.5 points.

Alternativtext Oak pulpwood increased in July by 2.5% to 106.1 points. Beech pulpwood recorded an increase of 0.3% to 106.6 points. The hardwood industrial wood price index increased by 0.7% to 106.5 points.

Year-on-year, the oak log index increased by 11.1%. B-Quality exceeded last year's value by 10.9% with an increase of 8.6% for 3m lengths and 21.3% for 5m lengths. C ranges increased by 10.9% and industrial grade gained 24.8%.
