The German producer price indices for pine tended to point upwards in December 2022. On average, the index for log wood rose by 1,5% to 93,5 points. B qualities reached the level of 109,7 points ( 3,8% ), to which 3/4 m lengths contributed with to 109,5 points.
C qualities in December reached 91,3 points ( 1,4% ). B/C qualities reached 82,1 points ( -0,8% compared to the previous month).
For spruce pulpwood Destatis calculated an index of 112,2 points (2,75%). Pulpwood of pine reached 112 points ( 4,5% ). Douglas fir pulpwood reached 72,5 points ( -11,8% ). The softwood pulpwood index arrived at 109 points ( 1,3% ).
