Lenzing has suspended the forecast for earnings development in the 2022 financial year in view of the drastically deteriorated development of the market environment in the current quarter. The further course of the financial year can only be estimated to a limited extent due to the extremely low visibility on the demand side and the high volatility on the global energy and raw material markets. Based on current assumptions regarding energy and raw material costs, the achievement of the medium-term forecast for 2024 is also considered to be at risk. However, the company sees itself strengthened in its strategic orientation.
